A ‘Room Only‘ guest house that is dedicated solely for the exclusive use of our guests. 10 bedrooms with no owners’ accommodation on site. With a large sitting room for your comfort. Parking is available free 24/7 just opposite. Have breakfast or dinner opposite in The Plough Restaurant, breakfasts is served daily between 7:30 and 9:30 with our exclussive 10% Discount Card.

Tate House or The Bondgatre Boutique are the perfect bases for you to explore the magic of Alnwick Castle and the magnificent Alnwick Garden just opposite Tate House. Or just 100 next door is one of Britain’s largest second hand bookstores, Barter Books. The Northumberland coastline offers stunning beaches, dramatic views and is home to some of the finest medieval castles in England. Or, if you prefer, a short drive will transport you into the wild romantic landscape that is the Cheviot Hills.

Tate House has been lovingly restored to offer high quality accommodation in the centre of Alnwick. All of our rooms are have private facilities and include flat screen TV’s with Freeview, integrated DVD players, tea/ coffee making facilities and WiFi throughout.
